As promised—threatened?—all my June posts will have a tie-in to A TWIST OF HATEATOHTHUMB (release date, June 17). Because many of you won’t have an opportunity to read the acknowledgements page of A TWIST OF HATE, I’ve posted it below. I’ve blurred out much of the text in the event those mentioned by name don’t want to be associated with the book—no need to risk causing them further embarrassment, right? But see the legible part? That’s you I’m talking about.

You may not share my genre. In fact, you probably don’t. We may have different reading tastes and different backgrounds. What we share is a love of words and story. You aren’t obsessed with genre conventions. You’ve never once told me what to write. You may even dislike my stories with their dark hearts and open endings, but still, your support and ecouragement has never wavered. Do you know how exceptional that makes you in the writing world? I’ve belonged to an endless string of writing organizations over the years, and believe me, I know.

I hope I’ve said this in the past, but in case I haven’t, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so very grateful.
